PROJECTS

Here are a few projects that we have completed.

Radstock, UK.

2017: Cams Engineering Ltd are completing a series of production critical upgrades to ForFarmers Radstock facility. The works include the Installation of Dust Units, Extraction Cyclones, Machinery removal and replacement, Material handling Equipment and much more.The project will run through the first Quarter of 2017 and will increase the facilities throughput and quality. Cams Engineering will minimise production downtime and ensure all planned works are carried out to cause no disruption in the facilities production.

Jonkoping, Sweden.

2016: Cams Engineering Ltd completed another Parcel sorting Installation for UPS. The complete Turn Key project was completed on time and on budget and without any health and safety issues. with over 10,000 man hours Cams completed the entire project without incident.The project consisted of a complete upgrade to the parcel sortation facilty. Cams engineering programmed in the works to ensure that the facility was able to function effectively while still going through a complete new installation. Cams engineering took care of all aspects of this project. Designing, Manufacturing and Installing the entire Electrical, Mechanical and Control systems Cams engineering Ltd have increased the potential throughput of the sortation facility by 150%. Ensuring the customer has built in growth capacity within the facility in this ever growing market.

Vasteras, Sweden

2013: Design, Manufacture and Installation of a stand alone parcel sortation system for United Parcel Service (UPS) in Sweden. The project was to supply a full turn key service for the Design, Manufacture and installation of a parcel sortation system. Including all electrical and the manufacture and supply of the control system and operater interface. We worked with the client (UPS) to deliver the project on time and on budget. Manufacturing everything in Wiltshire and responsible for transporting everthing to Sweden. A team of installers from Cams Engineering took ten weeks to complete the installation. During the whole installation process the facility remained operational at all times and there was no disruption to the clients operations.

 

 

 

For Farmers, Radstock.

2014: Installation for For Farmers of five story mezzanine floors steelwork including concrete levels and the installation of all associated factory machinery. This was a long project running from January 2014 and completion was due for November 2014. Cams Engineering Ltd supplied all labour and equipment for the project with the client suppling all drawings and materials. The project was completed on time and on budget. As a CDM reportable project Cams Engineering Ltd were also responsible for every aspect of the installation including commissioning of the machinery. Cams engineering is one of ForFarmers preferred contractors which includes Cams Engineering complying with a rigorous audit process. We continue to work with ForFarmers on numerous projects due to our professional and safe working practices.

Shenzen, China.

2015: Decommissioning of existing speaker manufacturing site and relocation installation. Moving from Wales, UK to new site Shenzen CHINA. This project was completed successfully and the production of speakers has been a success. Following this project Cams Engineering assisted in proof building another complete speaker manufacturing line in Wales. The entire line was proof built and tested to production levels. Cams Engineering then assisted the with the dismantling of the line, packaging the equipment into multiple shipping containers and the shipping of the line out to China. Cams Engineering supplied engineering staff to commission the line in China and we now continue to work with the companies involved across all there operations.

Grenada, Caribbean.

2016/17: Cams Engineering Ltd are currentlty in the process of Installing a complete new factory for the manufacturing of fruit juice products in the Caribbean for Winfresh Ltd. This exciting project for a fast growing company is due for completion in February 2017 with the factory going into full production shortly after. Alvan Blanch has designed the facility in partnership with Winfresh and Cams Engineering secured the Installation for Alvan Blanch based on our previous track record working with Alvan Blanch. Producing Fruit Juice is very complex process and the installation of the all the equipment needed is a very challenging due to the location. The equipment has been sourced from all over the world with equipment from Canada, China, Holland and the UK. The Bottling line has ten seperate machines with thirteen seperate conveyors. Cams Engineering have installed all the Bottling line equipment and all the ancillary equipment. Installation of a new 4500kg output steam boiler, a new 44bar high pressure compressor, a new three cavity Blow moulding machine and all the infrastructure services required have ensured that Winfresh will without exception have one of the most impressive facilities on the island.
